 Mission Statement:

Project Bridges is a NAEYC accredited, non-profit day care and preschool. Since 1973, we have been a leader in providing high quality care and education for children with diverse needs, cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are a multicultural day care center and preschool, that believes it is the basic right of every child to feel a sense of identity, purpose and self-esteem, derived in part from each child's cultural heritage. We also believe that each child is unique and deserves the opportunity to grow and experience that uniqueness.  With a nationally recognized curriculum, highly trained teachers, and a commitment to low student/teacher ratios, children develop a sense of identity and community in a safe, nurturing environment.  For all children enrolled, as well as their families, participating in an integrated program that is reflective of the community and rich in diversity fosters the respect and appreciation of similarities and differences.

3 Specialized programs offered to qualified families/children:

  • Language Scholarship:

$10/week tuition/part-time enrollment, for children who speak English as a second language.

  • Special Needs:

  • Sliding Fee:

Project Bridges staff is committed to offering a caring, stable environment for all children/families. Stability is evident, in part, through the constancy of our staff; eight staff members have been employed 10-16 years and six have been employed 5-10 years, so children can expect a familiar environment on a daily basis.
